take home) 9 days of antibiotics and 3 days of pain medication.  About two weeks ago he had two large abcesses removed and the area he was operated on looks
quite different than it does this time.  This time it looks a litte like a pit, hard to describe, but you can tell it was where he was operated on (last time I

			<title><![CDATA[ PA & MD 2 six mo old females ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I have two unspayed 6mo old females who are healthy and loveable.  Need to find a home ASAP or they will have to be euthanized since I have exhausted all other
avenues.  They love to cuddle under your chin or sit on your shoulder.  They are black/white and tan/white.  They come with their new cage, bedding, food,
dishes, toys, etc.  I am willing to transport (within reason).  I am located in southern PA, near MD.  <strong>I am not asking for $$, just a loving home.

			<title><![CDATA[ Do boars smell? ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I have one boar that is only 4 weeks old.  So far I havn&#39;t notice any smell from him.  I&#39;ve heard from some people that they can have a strong musky
smell, but others say they don&#39;t.  If they do, is it just when you have multiple boars in the same cage and they are trying to prove who is dominant that
they . . . release the smell?  Or is it supposed to be for the benefit of sows?  I&#39;m trying to decide if I should keep the boy or not.  I have 4 girls.

			<title><![CDATA[ Squiggy's sneezing ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ It&#39;s really weird. His breathing&#39;s normal, his eyes/nose aren&#39;t running and he&#39;s eating normally and very active. I took them to a vet who
claimed to treat Guinea Pigs, but I think I knew more than she did and she said he seemed fine and thought the sneezing was some sort of virus that should go
away.  Now I&#39;m worried though. Could this still be a respiratory infection or am I just overworrying? ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I have recently expanded my herd to 4! I have two pigs already established as mates (Heidi and Mo) and I recently adopted 2 more pigs (yet to be named) who are
a mother and daughter pair. I would definately like to have all of them living together in one cage after some expansion takes place. My question is how to
introduce them. I had an introduction between Heidi and Mo that went pretty well and now they are friends. But how to I introduce 2 pigs to 2 pigs? Should I

			<description><![CDATA[ I live in one of those places where people complain there are no rescues, so therefore, they have to buy from a pet store.  Well, that&#39;s what I did and now
instead of just 2 guinea pigs, I have 5!  I said I was going to keep them all, but as the babies are starting to get bigger, I&#39;m afraid having five is

Athena&#39;s.  This is the first time I&#39;ve had a pair of girls, and I noticed that when I had two boys, the one&#39;s sac was larger than the others.  Is
this normal in female&#39;s too?  I know they are both certainly girls but Elise&#39;s ring almost looks like it&#39;s loose.  When she is standing, it looks

			<description><![CDATA[ So I am a Social Worker and I have a client who has a guinea pig- let&#39;s just call him Piggie for confidentiality reasons (<img src="http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/smile.gif" alt="image">).  He is a fairly healthy pig and I have been spending quite a bit of time
educationg her on (what I know about) care and feeding of the little guy.  She has some problems with memory and recently had a stroke so she also has mobility

			<title><![CDATA[ Max has a bump ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I have a 2 yr old male guinea pig. I just gt him from a lady that could no longer care for him. When I got him his toenails were beginning to look like
corkscrews and she told me a while back that he had scurvy. i just got him Saturday and on Sunday I noticed a black bump on his lower back. I thought it was
his grease gland but when I cleaned it nothing came off of it. It looks lik a crater type thing. Has anyone seen this before?  I took a pic.

			<description><![CDATA[ Ok, this is going to sound stupid, but I&#39;m not sure what I should use to clean out my piggies water bottle.  I cleaned their cage with a vinegar water
solution, but I don&#39;t know if I should use something different. I&#39;d use dishwashing liquid, except the top of the bottle is too small to stick a bottle

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>I got a new guinea pig about 2 months ago, he was my first guinea pig. We now have another guinea pig in the home, but they are seperated in different cages
and different rooms. We give them healthful diets and they get outdoor excercise. They are both very friendly, but the newest one likes to nibble sometimes.
The guinea pig that we got about 2 months ago, Snickers, is however, loosing wait. I noticed it a few days ago. After I realized it, I started to give him more
