			<title><![CDATA[ Rescue/Fostering - pregnant two sows ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve been fostering small animals for over 4 years now, and this is the first time I&#39;m going to be taking care of babies; I&#39;m so excited!!!!  For
this one, the two rescued sows are pregnant.  I don&#39;t know how far along they are, and neither does the rescue.  I will be picking up the little dears (no
older than 6 months themselves) and am reading up on labor &amp; delivery on Guinea Lynx.  Has anyone out there had experience in this area that would be
beneficial to me?

			<description><![CDATA[ I live in a one bedroom apartment with two Guinea Pigs. I started having a bad allergic reaction. Trouble breathing was making it so I couldn&#39;t get to
sleep at night. I noticed a major lessening of my symptom&#39;s when I switched my GPs from Timothy Hay to Orchard Grass. I was starting to consider finding
another home for them before I switched the hay. They don&#39;t seem to like the grass as much as the timothy hay and one of them seems to hardly eat any at

			<title><![CDATA[ Somethings not right with my pig's ears ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve noticed something going on for a while now. My pig&#39;s ear seems dry &amp; flaky (almost like an ashy consistency to the skin in flakiness) on the
back side of both his ears. It used to be just one, but now it&#39;s on the back of both of them. The ear that first had the flakiness was also dry looking
inside his ear and flaky some, and he definitely doesn&#39;t like it when I touch that ear (he closes one eye and pulls away if I try to clean or look at the

to get him to lose weight? I give him a lot of timothy hay and pellets.. He has a big cage and can run around but tends to yawn and lay all the time.. He only
gets up to eat/drink. He also gets floor time 2-3 times a week for 30 to 45 mins each but he just sits there and doesn&#39;t move. What should I do? I have

			<description><![CDATA[ My 3 year old Bart started losing weight over the summer, but he was eating up a storm, looked great, and was full of energy.  In little time he became a rack
of bones, but was still full of energy...a little too full.  Turns out, Bart is hyperthyroid..a condition that isn&#39;t common in GPs, but seems to be showing
up a little bit more.  Bart is going to have his condition treated on Tuesday with an injection of radioactive iodine, the same treatment that they use on

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;ve had my guinea for about a month now. He&#39;s the first one I&#39;ve ever owned. He is the coolest little animal ever. He&#39;s very laid back and
LOVES to go to work with me. I work at a newspaper so I take his cage and let him crawl around my desk. He also loves the dog, Nila, and often popcorns over
her! He seems relatively happy and never shows signs of being mad/hurt but he ALWAYS makes a sound that&#39;s similar to what a lot of people are making out to
