Inroducing Elise, Athena's new friend!

After Cinnamon passing, since Athena was so young and not even used to us, really, I got her a friend named Elise. Athena bullied her terribly so bad that Elise couldn't even eat but now after only two days Athena cries like a baby if I pick Elise up without her.

Elise is the smaller tri-colored and Athena is the tan and white. I'll be adding more pictures when I can...

What do you guys think? His name is Jeeves. The woman I'm talking to got him for her 12 year old stepdaughter, who quickly lost interest. Since the woman had guinea pigs as a kid, she kept him for a few months and has decided to find him a better home. He'd be a companion to my pig, Baxter.

I have had lucy and peanut for over 2 month now but they barley make noise, lucy i got her a week before peanut. but lucy always in her pigloo. peanut is more bold she watches me until i get close to there cage then they run and hide. When i take them out they look like deers in head light and dont move until i get near they eat healthy and i clean there cage twice a week. I sing to them before i take them out there cage so they can recogize its me (i heard that in the a cavy newsletter) i...

I got a phone call this morning from the vet seeing how Penelope is doing. I told him great and that I asses some Alfalfa Hay in the Timothy Hay considering the age and size of Penelope and Abby. He said that was great seeing as both pigs are small. Then he asked had I ever thought about a third pig. I said maybe. He then explained that he got a call from a vet that volunteers at the Michigan Humane Society and they received a pig in three weeks ago that has finished its quarantine...

I am a bit scared since surgery is always rough with "little guys" but it needs to be done since he likes to "be in the crowd" and I don't need "babies" anyway ~ how long does it take for the recovery and should I keep him "alone" until after the stitches are out? Or just put him in "with the ladies"???
