Gimmie was a sweet Guinea pig. Always friendly and so appreciative of food. His final week was very hard and quite a struggle. The vet visits and my constant efforts were not enough to save him. He will be very missed.

I'm so sorry that the anasthetic took you like this and you were in so much pain in your last moments of life. Athena, Mom and Dad love you and miss you and we wish you were here. I'll never forget how you showed me that guinea pigs are awesome animals and how you learned to walk down the cage door to come out to play all on your own. You were one messy pig but brought lots of smiles to us.

On Saturday, April 21st my girlfriend and I lost our female teddy guinea pig named Sweetpea. She seemed fine all morning and was moving around like normal. 4 years ago, a shy little caramel coloured guinea pig picked us out. When we saw him sitting in his pink pigloo, it was love at first sight and Casey came to live with us. The first of four "piggies", Casey always has held a special place in our hearts. It didn't take long for our little guy to come out of his shell, stampeding around happily or being our "fuzzy little alarm clock" to let us know when to get up for work (and to feed him).
