My name is Tera. I have 4 piggies. One male(Max) and 3 females (Ruby,Squeak, and Jasmine) Ruby and Squeak were my first guinea pigs. Then I got Jasmine and a few days later I got Max. I rescued Max from a lady that could no longer care for him. He wasn't properly cared for there either. I clipped his toenails which were beginning to look like corkscrews. After a day of having him I noticed a black lump on his lower back( I posted a pic in the medical forum) It doesn't seem to hurt...

Hi, my name is Natalie and I'm from Harrisburg, PA. I have two guinea pigs. Cinnamon, the cuddly boar and Athena, who was Leonidas at first but then I found out HE was a SHE. I decided on adopting guinea pigs because I am allergic to EVERYTHING and I love animals. Guinea pigs seem to be the only animals besides hamsters that do not bother my allergies. I am Becky ~ I am married, have two boys (with autism) and one girl due in July! We have two gerbils that seem to live through everything. I guess I take care of them too well. And we have 6 guinea pigs, 2 or maybe three will be giving away.
