My name is Alyssa, and I have fourteen guinea pigs. (I also have 3 gerbils, a cat, 2 Yorkies, and an African water frog.) Some of my guinea pigs are "rescues." My guinea pigs are sort of unique because they are all movie stars! I make movies (that have won awards at film festivals) starring my guinea pigs. My movies have appeared on Nickelodeon and HBO. (There have also been stories about them on ANIMAL PLANET and PBS.) My latest movie, CARROT WARS, is a spoof of STAR WARS starring guinea pigs, and it was shown at DreamWorks Studios this summer, and was just released to video.
