Okay, that's very odd. I posted here last week, but I don't seem to see my post anywhere. *frown* Let me try again.
My name is Kimberly Ogbin. I am almost 24, and I live in New Jersey with my boyfriend. We both work at Lockheed Martin as Software Engineers/Programmers. I am a member of the SCA (very fun!), and spend a lot of my time sewing, embroidering, playing with piggies, or practicing calligraphy and illumination.
I have three female piggies: Genesis(black), Osha(TS&W), and Shiva (white and grey-brown), and they are all short haired. Shiva is my favorite, for she will lay down as soon as I start petting her. She is the most easy going, but also gets chased the most. Genesis is assertive and doesn't always let me pet her, and she is VERY ticklish in the hind region, so I have to be careful. She is my Lesbian Piggy, very easy to tell when she is in heat. Osha was my first, and she is the crankiest, hardly standing still to let me pet her. I think she is in the middle of the ranking, but she stands her ground whenever confronted and can be a downright bitch if not left alone. She rules the water bottle. I have had them since the end of December, and I will guess they are all around 14 months.
It all started with my friend Jessica, who had a female piggy, Elvira. She thought was was pregnant and asked me if I wanted a piggy. I was lonely, and I enjoyed playing with Elvira, so I decided to get one. And the more I read about them on the Cavy Madness site, the more I REALLY wanted one (or more). Well, time came, and it turned out she was just fat, not pregnant. But I already had my hopes up for a piggy, so Jess bought me Osha, who was so adorable. About a month later I decided to get her a companion. I had seen a pretty female in the store that was white and an odd gray-tan-earthy color and wanted her. If she was still there, she would be mine! She was, but I took turns holding the others, just because. There was a cute black one, and when I held her, she started sniffing and licking my neck, squeaking. My heart was won, so I got them both. *grin* It took a little bit of time to have them all get along, but now they tolerate each other and have fun. They are just so amusing, and keep me up when I should be going to bed.
Anyway, that's my info...
Let's hope it posts this time...
(EDIT): Sorry, that would be my dumbness...I had it set to show new topics only...so, duh, I wouldn't see my original post. Sorry about that, guys. You get two of me. :)
