I have 2 piggie boys, Arthur and Gus. Arthur is a 1-year old abby whom I adopted from the MSPCA Boston shelter. He is black with a bright orange swirl on one side of his butt. I got Gus as a companion for Arthur from someone I met through Cavymadness- he's almost 7 months old now, an abby mixed with (I think) a long haired breed. He's orange and white- actually from his piggy waist down is white so he kind of looks like he's wearing a diaper 
I recently finished my master's degree, but, while nearing the end of that endeavor, I discovered I truly want to be a vet. I've started at Harvard U. this fall in a program for students with other degrees who are making a shift into a health-related profession. I'll be ready to apply to vet schools in about 1 year.
I have a variety of other animals including gerbils, hamsters and rabbits.
