4 years ago, a shy little caramel coloured guinea pig picked us out. When we saw him sitting in his pink pigloo, it was love at first sight and Casey came to live with us. The first of four "piggies", Casey always has held a special place in our hearts. It didn't take long for our little guy to come out of his shell, stampeding around happily or being our "fuzzy little alarm clock" to let us know when to get up for work (and to feed him). "> As his "brothers" joined our family, Casey always got along well with timid Wilbur and played the big brother to excitable little Scotty. "> Casey had a special bond with his Zoey however, and although a mesh barrier separated them, the two would frequently be found leaning up against each other, trimming each other's fur or giving "kisses." Casey was the always the spokesperson for the herd, charming everyone he met. "> When we came home from work, he would always be the first one at the edge of the pen, ready to greet us and to be petted. "> Our little "Pooh Bear" loved going for walks down the hallway with his Suzy, holding paws or sitting at the patio window watching his "pet bunny" in the yard. "> With his Fletcher, Casey spent many days dozing on his chest watching old movie serials, snacking on carrots or having his nose "beeped." "> A little less than 2 hours ago, the biggest little heart we've ever know stopped beating. With his head resting on my shoulder, and Suzy petting him softly, Casey quietly crossed over the bridge. Thank you, Casey…for all the unconditional love and joy you gave us. We will always carry you with us in our hearts - Zoey, Wilbur & Scotty, Fletcher & Suzanne
