We're new here and posted in the Roll Call forum before realizing no one can comment there. We're interested in replies about our pregnant piggy, so will paste a section here from our introductory post. (Please note-- this was an accidental pregnancy; we were told we had two females. We've neutered our male, and will be preventing any breeding of the new arrivals as well.)
From our intro post--
We're expecting little piglets any day (or hour!) now. Jewel has grown huge! We were calling her our "Piggapotamus" but in the past few days she's lost that shape and looks for all the world like a thick furry puddle with a head and two legs out front! I certainly hope she delivers soon, because at this rate I don't think she's going to be able to walk much longer. We noticed the pregnancy sometime near Christmas (a few days before, if I recall), and now I'm wishing I'd written that date down, because it might be helpful in calculating how much longer we have to wait. If anyone has any hints about knowing what to look for when labor is imminent, or how her change in shape might be related to upcoming labor, please do write!
A new development -- We have been feeling movement for 2-3 weeks, and now can actually SEE the babies moving as she lies on her side. Photos of our very pregnant piggy are available in our photo album.
Anyone have a guess as to when she might deliver?
Thank you for any help anyone can provide!
