I named Hershey, Hershey Kiss because of his color, and because he gives kisses. :)

I named him Roscoe Piggy Coaltrain because I saw the Dukes of hazard while I was trying to decide a name for him and He responded to the name roscoe, and it
stuck.

My first piggy was adopted as adult, and already nammed Gus. As I am a musicals fan, Gus reminded me of the character in Cats, Gus the theater cat. So when I
got my second piggy, I wanted a name also from Cats, so she was Grizabelle - the glamour cavy (the character who sings "Memory"). For my third
pigster, I had a few names from musicals and opera ready, depending on the look and attitude of the cavy ; he was already nammed "Chewie" - and when
I signed the adoption papers, I realized that Chewie was short for Chewbacca. Being also a Star Wars fan, I had to keep that name.

Miss Wolve thats really neat that you named your other piggy after a character from "cats" thats a great musical. :). I was reading the name Gus and
thought of the mouse from Cinderella. GUS GUS lol

I will have pics of roscoe soon but I have to replace the wires to my scanner. They got chewed up by a furry friend. that's what happens when a piggy gets
loose and its my fault for that too.

Kanga - already had piggies named Roo and Piglet, and my friend's gp was Pooh, so I wanted to continue the trend. :)

Well, Schnuples , I think it sounded a bit like a Pokemon critter we thought was cute. Fuzzy (wuzzy) because she has lots of rosettes that stick out and Mello,
short for Caramello because she is that blonde caramel colour. I love some of the inventive names people have for their piggies!

i called my piggie koko black because shes all black with one cocoa-coloured stripe down her face and a cocoa coloured left hind foot....also koko black is the
name of my favourite chocolate shop and i just happeded to be eating one of their chocolates when we bought her...can i help it if im a chocolate hound?? =D

Well, I named my Guinea Matrim Cauthon after a favorite book character. My Guinea is playful and likes causing trouble so the name fit well.

I named my first little guy Bacon because well...he's a pig! It was Easter Sunday and my family was over...they were all saying it was mean but I thought
it was cute. After all, he's not a REAL pig.
My friend got him as a baby from Pet Smart and she didn't do proper introductions so he was beating up her other pig (named Abner. They named my little guy Mr. Vicious--and rightly so!). I didn't want him to go back to Pet Smart because he was so damn cute so I kept him and adopted another older male for him, Jasper--thinking the two could become friends. They hate each other. Bacon's a terror. Sweetest little thing to people but once you get him with other pigs, beware. He'll tear their heads off!! |

I named my female Missy May because it's such a feminine name and sometimes she seems really prissy! I named my male Mr.Mann because he thinks he's the
boss. He loves to posture and fluff up his mane (but he really loves to snuggle too!).

I named Cali because she has the coloring of a calico cat. Penelope I just liked the name and as she's primarily black and white she reminds me of a panda
bear...ok it's a stretch but that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!

I named my guinea pig Charley because his colour reminded me of chocolate. One of my favourite movies growing up was Charley and the Chocolate factory.

We named our little girls Mud and Cow. It was totally my idea and my fiance just went along with it. Mud is dark brown and black, like she rolled around in
Mud. Cow, obviously, looks like a cow. Shes all white and black with a couple of small brown spots.

I originally wanted to name my boy Stripe like one of the Gremlins from the movie, but it didn't really roll off the tongue. When I got him, he had
obviously already been in a scrape because his ear was torn. I thought that the name Spike fit as he was an Abby and the torn ear made him look about as
dangerous as a pig can look (LOL) so there it is.
I miss him, but I would rather have had him and miss him than never have known him at all |
