Last night I was cleaning up and I picked up a small square box with an attached lid. I looked at this box and thought this would make a great box for hay as
I had been placing the hay in piles in the cage and Penelope would spread it everywhere. So in the bottom portion of the box I placed a large pile of hay and
laid the attached lid flat so the pigs could get to the hay eaiser. The second I placed the hay in the box Penelope crawled into the hay pile buried herslef
and then walked around the cage spreading the hay everywhere. When she was finished spreading her hay to every portion of the cage she made a loud wheek and
looked at me like "See I will do what I want to do and you can not stop me." I told her to stop making a mess and she wheeked at me again then threw
hay in the air to prove her point. Now she crawls under the lid of the box when she has made into a makeshift tunnel then Abby jumps up and down on the lid
with Penelope underneath. They love this game. They are nuts that is all I can say.

I have now placed their hay inside a cute wire basket (that has no sharp edges) that acts as their hayloft. Penelope loves this idea and now sits in the hay
and looks like a hen sitting on a nest trying to hatch an egg. Abby now eats out of a box as Penelope has claimed this hay as hers and hers alone. It is cute
and I love seeing the antics that these two can think up.
