She's been fine up until this morning when I went to feed her and found her staying in her pigloo. I slept in this morning later than normal, but she didn't come over for food or anything. The blankie that I'd given her (which she sleeps on in her house) was pulled out into the corner by the water bottle.
I gave her two small pieces of lettuce, and a small piece of carrot, both of which she ate, but she wouldn't come out. Usually she's practically climbing out of the cage and squeaking. She suddenly raced out, ran around, practically crashing into stuff and raced back into her pigloo. This happened a couple of times, I gave her some timothy hay, which she sat in and proceeded to eat, but no popcorning like usual when I give her hay.
I tried tempting her with more lettuce and carrot, but no luck. I had to go out, so I left her more hay. When I left she was sitting in the corner eating hay. She's wasn't moving around like normal, but she did walk and turn a little, so I figured she wasn't injured.
I stopped by a petstore on the way home and the worker suggested that she might be binded up and that I shouldn't feed her lettuce. She also thought that the change in routine (my getting up later) might have something to do with it. I also gave her a different food bowl a couple of days ago, the older one was bigger so she used to sit in it and poop on one side and eat on the other.
I had been feeding her some carrots, boston lettuce, and one green bean, in addition to her pellets (the good kind, not the colored stuff) and as much timothy hay as she wants. She has water as well.
Right now she's sitting in her pigloo, moving around a little, but she won't come out. She had been behind it when I came home. She's peeing and pooping, her eyes are clear, she's not physically injured as far as I can tell.
What's up? She seems skittish and freaked out more than anything, but I'm worried.
