Cinnamon's cage mate, Pepper, just passed away on the 13th with a URI. I found Leonidas at the SPCA and he was in the boys cage and very young. I
always thought he had small testicles compared to Cinnamon. That is because Leo, is actually a she. I am scheduled to have Cinnamon neutered on the 30th and
I'm worried because I hear that surgery and anesthesia can be very detrimental to a guinea. Also, I've heard that pregnancy can be hard on them as
well. Is there anything I should know about the neutering before I take him. I used to be a Vet tech but never saw a neutering on a boar. They did say they
will be using a glue instead of stitches and that he is to eat before he goes in. The anesthesia is the same as they use on pediatrics, so they say it's
mild. Any information would be helpful, as I am worried for my Cinnamon.
