I am looking for a female guinea pig to be companion for Cece as we recently lost Sampson, her (neutered) male companion I got from the rescue. The reason I am
not going back to the rescue is that I don't have the time/gas money to drive 1hr 15 mins away to get a guinea pig. I have been checking the local shelters
for weeks, and I have been unsuccessful. Let me tell you, if I wanted a rabbit I'd be set; there are so many abandoned rabbits around here. I have seen a
few males, but I want a female so that my guinea pigs won't reproduce. I am uncomfortable putting a small animal under anesthesia (plus its wildly
expensive).
So if anyone in the NoVA area needs to rehome a female guinea pig, I will gladly take her! (As long as I don't have to drive more than 30-40 mins away ;). I live right between Warrenton and Gainesville.
