Gimmie was a sweet Guinea pig. Always friendly and so appreciative of food. His final week was very hard and quite a struggle. The vet visits and my constant
efforts were not enough to save him. He will be very missed.

I wrote him a letter for his casket:
We Love you and miss you dearly. I tried to get you better but my efforts weren't enough I suppose it was your time. I hope you weren't suffering terribly, I tried to make you comfortable with soft blankets and head supports. I will always miss you, you were a joy to have. You'll always be special to me and I'll never forget you. Thank you for sharing your life with us. I Love you sooo much xoxo R.I.P
He will be buried in a casket made by my Dad out of nice wood in our backyard.
