Our darling and extremely wary Betty slipped away on Bastille Day.....very patriotic as we live in France! I know that Bunny and Billy miss her even though they aren't showing it and only seem worried about their stomachs. I couldn't say goodbye as she was being piggy-sat while we were on holidays. That was really sad for our family but maybe she wanted to make it easy for us. I feel very sorry for my friend who felt really awful and at fault. I did tell her that it was not at all her fault and not to worry that Betty had a great life with us even if she was only 3 years old. We loved and spoilt her rotten but she deserved it.
