So the other day Ms. Piggie was acting wierd she ran out of her house and refused to go back in it. Well today she ran up her hay rack over the top and down
the other side. i combed her for flea's and its not that. its like shes been spooked. normally when i stick my hand in her cage she well run into her house
but for the last few days she just sits there and lets me pet her.

Could be anything. Something could have spooked her. I've had a pig that was spooked that remained on edge for days, before she finally calmed down back to
her old self.
She could be not feeling well. Has she been eating normally? Keeping her weight up? Is she acting unusual in other ways? Sudden changes in behavior, and the fact she sits still when you reach in (and she normally doesn't) can be indications of an illness. Your other thread you mention she is 4? It may be worth keeping an eye on her, especially her weight, and bringing her into a vet if she's losing weight or gets more subdued. |
