Hello everyone! :D I'm Sarah, 15, and a freshman in high school in the metrochemical refinery state, more commonly known as New Jersey.
I currently don't have any pigs, but I'm working on doing some research and trying to convince my mom and her fiance to let me get one should I prove myself responsible and make honor roll again this marking period at school. I had one when I was younger, and I think I might have actually belonged to this site back then. Unfortunately, my pigboy is no longer with us, and lately I've been missing having a small furry body to cuddle with. I have two cats now, and as affectionate as one of them is, it's not the same as having a pet who always enjoys a snuggle or two.
This is where I'm supposed to tell you guys about my interests and stuff... I guess the biggest thing about me is that I'm somewhat of a nerd. I know useless vocabulary words and such (including some Shakespearean insults), useless facts, etc. I soak up information like a sponge. The second biggest thing about me is that I'm a gamer girl. xD I only play one MMO, though, called Perfect World, but I've quickly become almost addicted to it. (I'm kind of hoping that a guinea pig might help me get off the computer and do something else, like taking my pig outside or letting him/her run around my room.) For anyone already worrying about the guinea pig being left alone in my room for hours on end, not to worry. I spend almost all my time in my room doing something or other since all my books and my laptop are in there, so the guinea pig wouldn't be alone. And between my sister and I, he/she would be very well handled. xD
My other various hobbies include reading, writing, drawing, DDR, and sleeping. Yup. I'm an exciting individual, am I not?
Hopefully getting into a guinea pig community again will help me come up with some more idea to add on to what I've come up with so far to convince my mom to let me get one, as well as to make sure I can take the best care possible of my furry companion. :3
