I have two female guinea pigs, Carmel and Mocha. Every night Carmel 'chirps' or 'sings' sometimes for longer periods than others. It's
amazing and I feel very special to have a guinea pig who does it every night. Usually Mocha will be sitting or lying in the cage just watching and listening to
her, but she never does it herself. Maybe Carmel's breed has someting to do with it? She's either a Peruvian or a Silkie and Mocha is an Abyssinian.
Carmel is also the more shy one. I was wondering if someone could give me some more information on this 'singing'? Does anyone have any clue or theory
why they do it? Does your guinea pig do it? If so, at what time usually? Thanks for the reply!
