Just lost Tama. As in less than an hour ago. She was fine yesterday morning, but when my daughter Maggie (who was Tama's person) played with her last
night, she didn't seem right. As the evening went on, she was lethargic and wouldn't eat treats and her breathing started to seem labored. At 10 or so,
my husband and I took her to the Angell Memorial animal hospital in Boston. Her breathing got worse, and she cried when urinating. She'd just completed
treatment for a urinary tract infection the day before, so we thought it was returning. Except she hadn't had labored breathing before. They admitted her,
and got her into oxygen, but called at 5:15 to tell us she was doing very badly and they were trying to intubate her. While I was waking Maggie to tell her,
Tama's heart stopped. I am so sad and angry and worried I did something wrong.
