I've had my guinea for about a month now. He's the first one I've ever owned. He is the coolest little animal ever. He's very laid back and
LOVES to go to work with me. I work at a newspaper so I take his cage and let him crawl around my desk. He also loves the dog, Nila, and often popcorns over
her! He seems relatively happy and never shows signs of being mad/hurt but he ALWAYS makes a sound that's similar to what a lot of people are making out to
be bad. Is it possible for the same sound to mean different things? An example is he's currently freely sitting on my shoulder and making the sound.
Another question I have is about his sneezing. He sneezes pretty regularly but he eats and drinks regularly and doesn't seem to act like it bothers him a whole lot.
Other than those two things, life with my first guinea is great! :) He even gives me a lick from time to time. And just for good measure here's a picture of my guineacowpig with his friend Nila...
